Moving across the country and meeting tons of new people, has caused me to evaluate more and more the kind of person I want to be. My mom is someone who has never hidden who she is and has always been her absolute self. You can't appreciate that as a kid and often times dislike that about your parents because it can be "embarrassing". I'm finally acting as my absolute self the best way I know how, and I have her to thank. This blog is a testament to her spirit, everything she is passionate about, and life in general!
